Full view for details, I know it's HUGE but considering how much time and effort I had put into this one - humor me. It was supposed to be a marital cloak, those fluffy thingies are feathers (black, mostly raven), embroidery and broch are maple leaves (that part was supposed to look stiff, I imagine with such an amount of brocade thread it would be rather unflexible). Shirt has acorn and oak leaves pattern (yes, those blobs are acorns, I know...) and was designed after Russian Kosovorotka. Pants are supposed to be rather baggy and loose, very much alike the ones Polans wore. Hair in half-braids, with part at the top left unbrided. Forgot about gloves ><.
All in all, it didn't turn out quite like what I wanted it to be, but I'm still sort of proud. There - clothes and details! Rejoice! It's not like I do that stuff often.
21.07. - following tips from lovely Cylis, I made her hips less wide and pants less clingy. Hope it looks better after those fixes.
It's really pretty - and don't worry, the acorns are recognizable. I love the swirly pattern on her top and the leaves on her cloak.

To steal ideas from one person is plagiarism; to steal from many is research.
I'm well known for drawing naked or half-naked men and claiming it's for 'muscules drawing practice', of course it's not like I can't or don't want to draw clothes or any details, no siree

That's a good strategy. Carry on. ...I mean... it's always nice to look at well-drawn anatomy. Yes. I know I always add a lot of clothing simply because I don't like drawing anatomy - muscles in particular. Maybe I should change my plans.

Out of doubt, out of dark to the day's rising I came singing in the sun, sword unsheathing. To hope's end I rode and to heart's breaking: Now for wrath, now for ruin and a red nightfall!
